Happy Sunday Bettas! Below you will find important information about the week ahead as well as a recap from last week. I hope to try and get this out once a week so that our team is united!

Recap from last week:

• We had a FANTASTIC first week of practice!! Everyone worked so hard, and we’re already seeing big improvements.
• If you missed the parent meeting on Wednesday, please reach out to me so that I can send you a recap of what you missed. There are a few changes this year, so it is important that you are aware of them.
• Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday on Thursday. It was a really great day, and I felt the love from everyone.
• HUGE thank you to Maya, Jessica, and the other board members for our kickoff dinner on Friday. Everyone had a great time, and it was an amazing way to start the summer!

The Week Ahead:

• Practice will be MONDAY-FRIDAY this week! The radar is looking a little flaky for the middle of the week, so make sure your swimtopia notification, email notifications, or Facebook group notifications are turned on. We will try to update you as quickly as possible.
• The deadline to sign your swimmer up for our meet against MAFD on June 8^th will be WEDNESDAY JUNE 5^th at NOON! This will allow me to connect with Coach Maddy and Coach Rosalee so we can get the lineup hammered out and merged with the dolphins by Friday. If your swimmer is available (or unavailable) please mark them as such on the desktop version (or the mobile browser version, the app likes to delete your responses, but you can do it from your phone’s internet browser)
• Friday will be our “mock” meet. If you are free, Friday morning from 8-9:30 we will be having a practice meet for our swimmers. This is a great opportunity to learn or refresh both yours and your swimmer’s expectations of a swim meet in preparation for Saturday’s! We will be working through volunteer positions, clerk of course for swimmers, and another general swim meet knowledge. If you have any questions, please contact me!
• June 8^th is our first meet of the season against MAFD! The theme is Disney night. Check your emails for more information that will come in the days to follow!

Office Hours

I will be out of town Monday afternoon through Tuesday Night. My hours to answer questions or concerns this week will look like the following (as always though reach out with any emergency you may have):

Monday- Tuesday NO OFFICE HOURS

Wednesday 11-2

Thursday 11-2

Friday 11-2 (My mom is having surgery that day so it may take me a while to respond but I will ASAP)

Saturday 12-2

Coming up:

There will be a meet against Cherokee on June 13^th, signup deadlines will be Tuesday June 11^th at noon. That theme will be Barbie vs Ken.
