Hello everyone!

We have already had a great start to the season the past couple days, and I know it will just keep getting better! It's hard to believe, but our 1st meet is just over a week away! We will be racing the Clinton Swim Team at HOME on Friday 6/5 at 6:00pm. Our warmup will be around 5:00pm. Please RSVP your swimmer and sign up for a volunteer position in Swimtopia by Monday to ensure that your swimmer is put into the meet! You can sign up in the app or on the website using this link: Schedule - Lenoir City Bettas Swim Team. Please remember that parent volunteering is mandatory and crucial to running a successful meet.

We have a lot of new faces to the team and to swimming in general this year. The 1st meet can always be a little intimidating, but the coaches will do everything we can at practice to ensure that your swimmers are well prepared for the 1st meet. Please don't let nerves or fear be a reason not to participate, especially since it's our only home meet!

I also wanted to be transparent about my personal schedule. I do work a full time job as an engineer at Denso in Maryville, so that means I have to leave practice at 8:30am every day. I also have occasional online meetings (I had one this morning) where I have to step back during practice to participate in the meeting. Even though I may not be at practice 100% of the time, please know that I am all in for watching your swimmers grow and succeed both in and out of the pool. We have such a great team of coaches with Coach Ben, Coach Emily, Coach Dennis, and our junior coaches, so your swimmer will always be taken care of.
