We will be accepting payments (cash or check), handing out paperwork to be filled out, going over the upcoming season and meeting with your coaches! Can't make it? Sat-Sun Oct 1-2 2022	Atomic City Triathlon (FUNDRAISER) Melton Hill Dam Start: 7:00 AM End: 4:30 PM (estimated) Hey all! The fundraiser is back! For those that don't know, the Bettas are given a great opportunity each year to put in a weekend of volunteering that helps our team SO much <3 This year, we are hoping to put any "extra" we earn towards another fantastic coach to be on deck next season, so every $$ counts :) Saturday AM - Assist with water fills, light clean up, cheering on the runners and cyclists. This usually runs from about 7am-12:30pm Sunday AM (8am-12:30pm) - Assist with water fills, light clean-up, and cheering on the runners and cyclists at 3-4 different aid stations (will need one parent at each station). Sunday PM (12pm - 4:30pm) - Assist with water fills, light clean-up, and cheering on the runners and cyclists at 3-4 different aid stations (will need one parent at each station). The team will provide snacks for the swimmers and for our MS/HS swimmers, this is a great way to earn community service hours, not to mention the gratitude of each of us :) Please sign up for a shift if you can! Mon Jul 25 2022	Tie Dye Day! LC Pool Start: 8:00 AM End: 9:30 AM All age groups! Bring your whitest white shirt/socks/shorts/tank top to dye with your coaches and get a quick fun swim in! This isn't a mandatory event, but siblings are welcome to come as well. Be there at 8am, we will finish up at 9:30am.

Tue Jul 19 2022	Picture Day! LC Pool Start: 8:00 AM End: 9:30 AM It's Picture Day! Come on out in your Bettas 2022 shirt and your smile and lets take that picture! We take a team picture as well as numerous other pictures, so it will take a bit. Have your swimmer bring their suit, in case we have time to get some fun swim in :) Please, do NOT be late, we don't want to leave anyone out!

Maybe just a little? Coach Nathan will be there to help with technique drills and encouragement :) 11 & ups - 8-9:30am 10 & Unders - 9:30 - 10:45am Wear your suits, bring your water and your towel and let's goooo!
Sun Jul 10 2022	Smoky Mountain Invitational - SMI (10 & Unders ONLY) Springbrook Pool - Alcoa, TN (636 Vose Rd, Alcoa, TN) Start: 7:30 AM End: 4:00 PM (estimated) The Smoky Mountain Invitational is held annually during the month of July and hosted by the Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins. This swim meet is the largest outdoor swim meet in the United States and gets larger and larger every year! The event is always on a Saturday and Sunday, with older kids swimming on Saturday and younger kids on Sunday. This meet is one of the biggest held, every season, on July 9th and 10th, this sign up is for the 10 & Unders ONLY! If you have a older swimmer, please sign them up for the 7/09/22 session, thank you! This event is held at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa, Tennessee (same place as our MAFD vs Bettas meet!). Tue Jun 28 2022	LCST @ MAFD MAFD - 636 Vose Rd, Alcoa, TN Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:15 PM End: 9:30 PM (estimated) The Bettas will travel to the Maryville-Alcoa pool to swim against the Dolphins located at 636 Vose Rd, Alcoa, TN. MAFD is our sister team and has always treated us well, it's a friendly rivalry that dates back years <3 We ask that all swimmers be on deck for warm-ups by 5:15pm, more info on where to set up/parking will be provided in the coming weeks. Remember, this night is Hawaiian/Tropical night, so come wearing your most festive clothing! Snacks, water, chairs & sunscreen are a must as well. If you know that your swimmer cannot attend, please be sure to update us here and let Coach Nathan/Coach Hannah know at least a week ahead. Thank you and GO BETTAS!
Fri Jun 24 2022	USC @ LCST LC Pool - 120 Panther Dr, Lenoir City, TN Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 4:45 PM End: 9:30 PM (estimated) The Bettas will host University Swim Club at our home pool. We need you on deck NO LATER than 4:45pm. We will need ALL parents/volunteers on hand to make this a successful meet :) More info on how YOU can assist will be given the weeks leading up to the event. Remember that tonight's theme is Pirates, so wear your eye patches and feathered hats! We ask that if your Betta cannot make this meet, to please let Coach Nathan or Coach Hannah know the week prior.
