The Smoky Mountain Invitational is held annually during the month of July and hosted by the Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins. This swim meet is the largest outdoor swim meet in the United States and gets larger and larger every year! The event is always on a Saturday and Sunday, with older kids swimming on Saturday and younger kids on Sunday.

This meet is one of the biggest held, every season, on July 9th and 10th, this sign up is for the 11 & Ups ONLY! If you have a younger swimmer, please sign them up for the 7/10/22 session, thank you!

This event is held at Springbrook Pool in Alcoa, Tennessee (same place as our MAFD vs Bettas meet!). More info to be given regarding parking (free!) and entry (also free!) and what to expect (bring a chair and lots of water!), soon.

The Bettas will travel to the Maryville-Alcoa pool to swim against the Dolphins located at 636 Vose Rd, Alcoa, TN. MAFD is our sister team and has always treated us well, it's a friendly rivalry that dates back years <3 

We ask that all swimmers be on deck for warm-ups by 5:15pm, more info on where to set up/parking will be provided in the coming weeks. Remember, this night is Hawaiian/Tropical night, so come wearing your most festive clothing! Snacks, water, chairs & sunscreen are a must as well.

The Bettas will travel to the Benington Farrington pool to swim against the B-F Barracudas located at 8817 Colchester Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN. We ask that all swimmers be on deck for warm-ups by 5:15pm, more info on where to set up/parking will be provided as soon as we hear from the Barracudas :) Remember, this night is NEON night, so come wearing your most brightly colored clothing! Snacks, water, chairs & sunscreen are a must as well.

The Bettas will travel to the Westside YMCA to swim our first meet against the Westside Marlins. We need you on deck NO LATER than 5:15pm. More info (parking, where our team can set up, etc) is listed below. We ask that if your Betta cannot make this meet, to please let Coach Nathan or Coach Hannah know the week prior.  Don't forget, this night is a Farm/Western theme, so wear your best costume/cowboy hat! Snacks, water, chairs & sunscreen are a must as well. Thank you and GO BETTAS!

Facility Details: Our pool is located at 400 Winston Rd, Knoxville, TN 37909.

It's a 10 lane (8 competition lanes) pool.

Concessions

: Our team will be selling concessions. We will have items such as pizza, candy bars, soft drinks, and fruit. We accept payment by cash only.

Spectator Seating

: We have limited spectator seating inside the fence. While the facility does provide some chairs, there are not enough for everyone. All seating is bring your own (chair, blanket, etc.). We have a great hill on the South side of the pool that will allow for any number of parents to sit and observe the meet from outside the fence.

Parking

: We have reasonably sufficient parking at our facility. The parking lot "down the hill" from the pool is the closest parking. There is also overflow parking in the Church parking lot across the street from the entrance (off Winston Rd).
